REPROGRAMMING & TUNING

Unleash Your Motorcycle’s Full Potential

We specialise in motorcycle ECU reflashing and dyno tuning, transforming the performance of bikes from all makes and models. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune a sports bike or optimise a new ride, we’ve got the tools, skills, and expertise to bring your vision to life.

Dyno tuning: Using our state-of-the-art dyno room, we simulate real-world conditions to gather and analyse data like power, torque, and air/fuel ratios.

Motorcycle ECU reflashing: Unlock advanced performance with the same techniques used by OEMs. We reprogram your ECU to fine-tune fuel ratios, ignition timing, and throttle settings, giving you full control over your bike’s potential.

Global expertise: As part of an international tuning network, we constantly develop new ECU protocols and solutions for the latest models, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

DYNO TUNING

If you have upgraded your exhaust, air filter or made any other performance modifications, you may find the result just isn't what you had expected. Factory restrictions (as a result of the manufacturers compliance with noise or emission laws) will also affect performance, these are most evident when used under race track conditions. Some high flow exhaust designs can create a dangerously lean condition which can lead to excessively high combustion temperatures and subsequent engine damage.

WHAT IS DYNO TUNING?

The motorcycle is run through various gear, speed and throttle settings on an electro-magnetic variable resistance roller which allows us to log power, torque and Air/Fuel Ratio data. This data is then used to customise the engine control maps to make the most of your exhaust and intake modifications.

We are continuously developing tunes and new ECU protocol support with our International partners to realise the latest versions and previously unsupported models.

Dyno tuning is the method of gathering performance data and dynamic logging of power, torque and Air/Fuel Ratio data to pinpoint any faults or inefficiencies. This data can then be corrected and perfected by reprogramming the Engine Control Unit (ECU) with the updated data.

Our Dyno room simulates road conditions and airbox pressures up to 325km/h, allowing us to fine tune engine performance under all conditions. Fuel injection duration, ignition timing, Air Fuel Ratio (AFR), Electronic Throttle Value (ETV) and Secondary Throttle Plates (STP), disabling of Deceleration Fuel Cut (making a smoother throttle transition from closed), and various limiters are just some of the parameters able to be modified, allowing us to perfect your motorcycle's performance.

BENEFITS

Perhaps your bike has a weak spot on take-off, or uses more fuel at cruise than expected.

Dyno tuning allows us to fine tune your bike with a specific tune, not an on-line file purchase and "one tune suits all" approach. We write the maps for every bike during a Dyno tune.

Dyno tuning allows us to safely achieve road speed, simulate air pressure and then correct Air/ Fuel Ratios to smooth out acceleration, improve fuel economy and remove in-built restrictions for high performance and race track use. Our Dyno has a high speed wind system which simulates actual riding conditions, making a more accurate end result.

Fitting a sports exhaust or high-flow air filter? These upgrades can lead to lean air/fuel ratios, reducing power and increasing combustion temperatures. Dyno tuning ensures your bike stays efficient and protected.

Reflashing is the process of reprogramming your engine's control data, giving us the ability to:

- adjust fuel maps, ignition timing, and torque control

- remove factory limitations for unparalleled performance.

Unlike “piggyback” units, reflashing allows full control over engine parameters, ensuring a superior, customised tune.

With ongoing development for all brands and models, you’ll benefit from:

- increased torque from 1200 RPM and up

customised solutions tailored to your bike's unique setup

- higher performance and smoother throttle response

- improved fuel economy and reduced restrictions for racing or high-performance use

- safely enhanced modifications like high-flow air filters and sports exhausts

- avoiding the limitations of piggyback control units with full access to all engine control parameters.

WHAT IS ECU RE-PROGRAMMING?

Re-flashing is the reprogramming of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) management data using the same method as the original factory ECU programming. Factory data is read, corrected and re-flashed into the ECU's microprocessors.

It allows ALL maps, Fuel - (Inlet Air Pressure & Throttle Position), Ignition - (gear position specific), Electronic Throttle Value, Torque Control, and Air Fuel Ratio's to be finely tuned and corrected. You will find pricing to be very similar, if not cheaper than piggyback modules cost alone.

Re-flashing when compared to using a "piggy-back" control unit, allows far more control over engine performance. Most "piggy-back" units only adjust one fuel map.

BENEFITS

All engine control parameters, "Maps", restrictions and rider mode features are able to be edited and tuned. This is impossible using old fashioned "piggy-back" units which trim basic fuel values only.
